Celebrations of the Europe Day in Kabul – Intellectual and cultural activities for afghan students

Kabul – Building on the tradition of the last years, on 9 May 2017 the Delegation of the European Union to Afghanistan opened the doors to afghan 12 to 19-grade students to celebrate the Europe Day.

In the framework of the program, the Italian stand offered to all participants a piece of a delicious homemade pastry known as Crostata and a wide range of intellectual and cultural activities, like the Leonardo Da Vinci’s bridge (extraordinary project reconstructed in three-dimensional graphics), Coloseum building 3D puzzle, and a quiz session on geographic knowledge of Italy.  These activities, organized by the Italian Embassy and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation in Kabul, attracted both male and female adolescents. The extensive participation of students shown their strong interest in Italian history, culture and traditions.
